Diego is a project analyst for SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation, a Brazilian NGO that works for the conservation of the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest and it's associated coastal zone and marine ecosystems. Currently working at the "Costa Atlântica" Program, he is involved in partnerships for Marine Protected Areas, grant funds for conservation and sustainable development projects, supporting policies for the sustainable use of marine resources and other activities. Prior to SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation, he worked for environmental consultancy firms in different projects, from Management plans of marine protected areas to port activities. Diego has a Bachelors degree in Marine Biology and a Masters in Oceanography from the Oceanographic Institute of São Paulo University. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
