Associate Professor on the Design programme at the Institute of Production Engineering and Management (IPEG) of the Universidade federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI, Brazil), working in the areas of Design Theory, Graphic Expression, Creative Processes in Design, and Critical Analysis of Art and Design. He obtained his PhD from the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo e de Design da Universidade de São Paulo (FAU-USP, Brazil) in a joint doctoral programme with the Università IUAV di Venezia (IUAV, Italy). He holds a Masters degree in Design from the Centro Universitário Senac, São Paulo, and a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the Universidade Salvador (Unifacs), Bahia. He is currently engaged in postdoctoral research involving the curation of a typographic collection at the Museu do Ipiranga, Universidade de São Paulo. His main research interests include the history of design in Brazil, ephemeral prints, graphic memory, letterpress, and material culture. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
