Master in Social History from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and Social Scientist graduated from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), since 2007 conducts research on popular culture with an emphasis on São Paulo samba and the music of São Paulo shoeshine boys of the first half of the twentieth century. Between September 2008 and July 2009 was scholarship of scientific initiation of Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) and was even honored in 2009 with the National Award for Scientific Initiation, awarded by the National Association of History (ANPUH). Between 2010 and 2015 worked as an educator and researcher at the Museum Afro Brazil, in São Paulo, where he gained experience in art education and has developed researches on the collection of that institution in several national and international exhibitions. Interest in the areas of Cultural History, anthropology, oral history, popular culture, history of the city of Sao Paulo, street workers, samba and ethnomusicology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
