Professor at the Instituto Federal Catarinense, Abelardo Luz campus, where he works with a focus on Rural Education and Indigenous School Education. PhD and master in Social Anthropology from Unicamp. He has been working as a teacher since 2008 and has extensive teaching experience at all levels of education: Elementary, Secondary, pre-university, Higher and postgraduate. He was also a professor at the Federal Institute of São Paulo - IFSP between 2020 and 2022. He has worked on a research team in the Amazon region and carried out fieldwork in several other contexts in Brazil (Minas Gerais, Goiás, Espírito Santo and São Paulo) and Today, he carries out research in the Brazilian semi-arid region, focusing on the Cariri Paraibano region, an area with the lowest rainfall in the country.
