Andrea Vieira Colombo

Graduated in Biological Sciences and BSc (1990) and Master of Bacteriology (1999) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006). Postdoctoral performed in Applied Oral Sciences Department, Forsyth Institute (2007-2008) and Postdoctoral Oral Microbiology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (2009-2013). Lecturer in undergraduate courses in the area of #8203;#8203;Health Sciences in different private universities since 1991. The line of research is based on studies of oral microbiology and ecology, with emphasis on the interactions between pathogens of the oral cavity, oral biofilms of these microorganisms and relations with the human host.
