Joao Marcelo Azevedo de Paula Antunes

Veterinarian with advanced training in Diagnostic Imaging and a Master's degree from the Federal University of Espírito Santo with a master's degree internship at Louisiana State University, USA. He has a specialization in Animal Health, a PhD (Sandwich at the Instituto de Investicación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC) of the Castilla de la Mancha University in Spain) and a Post-Doctorate from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho"-UNESP in Botucatu. He is dedicated to imaging studies and infectious/zoonotic diseases of domestic and wild animals. Specialized in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging in small animals. He is currently a Veterinarian at the UFERSA Veterinary Hospital and permanent member advisor of the Postgraduate Course in Animal Science (PPGCA, concept 5) and Coordinator of the Residency Program in Imaging Diagnosis of Companion Animals at UFERSA. Collegiate member of the Brazilian College of Veterinary Radiology of the ABRV (Brazilian Association of Veterinary Radiology) and specialist in Imaging Diagnosis by the Federal Council of Veterinary Medicine.
