Holds a degree in Sports Science from the State University of Londrina (UEL - 2004), specialization in Exercise Physiology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP - 2005), master's (2007), doctorate (2012) and post-doctorate (2012-2017) degrees in Physiology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP/USP). Developed part of the PhD project in collaboration with the University of Iowa (2009-2010). Has experience in Physiology, with emphasis on Cardiovascular Physiology, working mainly on the following topics: hypertension, inhibition of nitric oxide synthesis, ovarian hormones and cardiovascular system, acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, inhibition of acetylcholinesterase activity, electrical stimulation of neural pathways, cardiovascular autonomic modulation, baroreflex function, and variability of cardiovascular parameters. Also, it has been dedicated to the development of miniaturised electronic devices used for electrical stimulation of neural pathways and the development of computational tools for analysis of cardiovascular parameters.
