At present he is senior manager - Head of Manufacturing Engineering for Trucks and Powerystems in Latin America at Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Bus Ltd. He works with strategic projects and spearheads the industrialization of new products into the production.Rafael has over 10 years of experience in Operations and has worked in the fields of maintenance, production, quality, logistics, procurement, manufacturing engineering besides recently working with Product Life Cycle and Platform Management.Graduated in Mechatronic Engineering by Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and post graduated in the master of Science in Mechatronic Engineering by the Politecnico di Torino. He has a post-graduation in Administration by EAESP-FGV, certificates in Design Thinking by ESPM and Disruptive Strategy by Harvard University and has a Master's Degree in Economics by Insper.Has performed research works in the area of finite elements and structures under the orientation of Professor Doctor Larissa Driemeier.
