Bruno César Brito Miyamoto is a researcher specialized in using statistics and data science to analyze problems in the field of applied social sciences. His areas of interest include quantitative methods, applied econometrics, and economic impact assessment. He leads the Research Group on Applied Economics and Data Science and serves as a researcher in the following groups: Technology and Decision Sciences; Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Contemporary Applied Economics; and Bioeconomic Modeling and Simulation for the Adoption of Sustainable Production Systems. Bruno holds a degree in Business Administration from FCT-UNESP, a degree in Statistics from IME-UFRGS, and a Master's and PhD in Economic Development from IE-UNICAMP. Currently, he is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), where he teaches courses in Finance, Administration, Economics, and Data Science.
