Fernanda Gambogi Braga Amarante

Graduated in Biological Sciences of Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2006), Master's degree in Biological Sciences with emphasis on Immunology of parasites from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2006-2008) and PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP ) (2008-2012). He is currently doing post-doctoral fellow in immunology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. It was a substitute teacher in the department of Parasitology, Microbiology and Immunology, Federal University of Juiz de Fora in the 2006-2007 period. Has experience in the field of Parasitology, with emphasis on Human Parasitic protozoology, acting on the following topics: Leishmania amazonensis, Leishmania chagasi, medicinal plants, synthetic molecules and antiparasitic activity. She evaluated the functional capacity of eosinophils in peripheral blood of patients with the juvenile form of paracoccidioidomycosis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
