Hugo de Campos Braga

Adjunct Professor and Researcher in Organic Chemistry, currently working at the Institute of Science and Technology of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), São José dos Campos Campus. I have experience in the synthesis of molecules with potential biological and pharmacological activity, as well as expertise in the synthesis of organocalcogenides for applications in functionalized materials and photodynamic therapy. I have a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2007), a Master's degree in Drugs and Medicines from the University of São Paulo (2011) and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2015). I worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Center for Structural Molecular Biology, CEBIME - UFSC. My interests include synthesis of molecules with potential biological and pharmacological activity, synthesis of organocalcogenides for applications in functionalized materials and photodynamic therapy, and development of new methodologies for synthesis of organic compounds.
