Biologist, MSc. and PhD in Environmental Sciences in the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Her work involves conservation planning in a human-modified landscape using species distribution modelling to develop land use scenarios for carnivorous conservation in São Paulo State, Brazil. She is strongly focus on using ecological research to inform decision-making process. Part of the Environmental Policy Research Center (NEPA) team and the Wildlife Ecology, Management and Conservation Lab (LEMaC) team in the University of São Paulo (USP). She conducts research in collaboration with the Landscape Ecology and Conservation group and the Spatial Ecology group in the University of Queensland, Australia, and with the National Center for Research and Conservation of Mammals Carnivores, Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (CENAP/ICMBio).
