I hold a bachelor's degree in Physical and Biomolecular Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2010), a master's degree (2012), and a Ph.D. (2007) in Biosciences and Technology of Active Products from the University of Campinas. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher (2020-2023) at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) in the characterization of photoreceptors and in the development of optogenetic tools. I have experience in molecular biology, production and purification of recombinant proteins, protein crystallography, enzymatic kinetics, photoreceptors, synthetic biology, and optogenetics.
