Graduated in Social Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos. She holds a master's degree and is a doctoral candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) at UFSCar. She is a researcher at the Laboratory of Transspecific Ethnologies (LETS) and at Humanimalia - Anthropology of Human-Animal Relations. Furthermore, she has experience in Anthropology, specifically in multispecies anthropology and rural anthropology. Her main areas of interest are: animals, material-semiotic relations, historiography, literature and art. She is currently developing her doctoral research on the relationship between humans and animals, as described in Brazilian literature or, more specifically, in the Romance of the 30s.
