I have a degree in Statistics from the State University of Campinas (1977), a Master's degree in Medical Statistics - University of London (1984) and a Doctorate in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health/ Usp (1999). From 2001 to the present date I am professor doctor level III at the School of Public Health of the University of São Paulo. I have experience in the area of public health, with emphasis on validity and reliability studies; systematic review; nutritional assessment using anthropometry; construction of measurement instruments in nutrition and physical activity. Investigated topics related to AIDS, assessment of nutritional status of schoolchildren aged 7 to 10 years, cross-cultural adaptation of a measurement instrument in physical activity. I currently investigate issues related to entomology in public health. cystic fibrosis, physical activity in old age and upper-level evasion. I am accredited in the Doctoral Program in Epidemiology (FSP/USP), Professional Master in Entomology in Public Health (FSP/USP) and Master's Degree in Collective Health (Institute of Health /SES/SP). Minister of Biostatistics in the Undergraduations in Nutrition and Public Health and post-graduation of programs of FSP/USP and at the Institute of Health/ SES/ SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
