Aline de Lucas is graduated in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2003). She got her Master degree in Space Geophysics from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2005), and her Ph.D. in Space Geophysics from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2009). She has experience in Geosciences, focusing on Space Geophysics, acting on the following subjects: intense and superintense geomagnetic storms, energy injection functions, interplanetary structures, such as cirs, shock waves, magnetic clouds, coronal mass ejections, among others.
