Dr. Priscila Maziero is a biochemical engineer who has background in research and development of new products and processes. Her PhD in Science of biomass were developed at Engineering School of Lorena (University of Sao Paulo USP), and at Max-Planck-Institut für Kolloid- und Grenzflächenforschung (Potsdam-Germany). The main topics explored in PhD were topochemistry analysis of bagasse and straw sugarcane, optimization of pretreatment processes, alkaline delignification and enzymatic hydrolysis of biomass. Currently she works at CTBE in projects of validation and scaling up of pretreatment , and optmization of carbon source, from sugarcane bagasse, for fermentative processes.
