Fernanda Maria Pinto Vilela

Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2007). Master's degree (2010) and PhD (2013) in Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto USP in the area of concentration Medicines and Cosmetics. Realization of a CNPq Sandwich Doctoral Internship Science Without Borders Program at the Department of Dermatology of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wi, USA (2012). She is currently Associate Professor I at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora - UFJF. She served as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UFJF from June 2021 to January 2025. He has experience in the area of Pharmacy, with emphasis on Analysis and Quality Control of Medicines and Cosmetics, working mainly in the following areas: development of formulations and analytical methods, studies of photoprotection, photostability, skin penetration, cell and tissue culture.
