Physics from the University of Brasilia (Bachelor and Licentiate), completed in 2001 and 2004 respectively. She obtained the title of Master in Experimental Physics (UnB) in 2004 and a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics (UnB and Universitaet Paderborn) in 2009. She was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade Federal do ABC, with funding provided by the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP). She was also a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Department of Science and Technology of Aeronautics (IEAv / DCTA), with funding provided by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She worked as a professor at the University of Vale do Paraíba from 2011 to 2016. She currently researches mainly physico-chemical properties of cosmetics such as permeation and interactions with human skin, hair and nails and serves as Full Professor postgraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Brazil.
