She has a bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul (2005) and MSc in Biochemistry from Universidade de São Paulo (2008) and a PhD in Sciences (Biochemistry) (2012), both from the University of São Paulo (USP). Has experience with UV-Vis spectroscopy, Circular Dichroism and Fluorescence related to antioxidant capacity and oxidative changes of hemeprotein. She had worked with reactivity of triplet carbonyls and singlet oxygen on biomolecules, with emphasis on analysis by mass spectrometry and luminescence (photon counting). She has completed a six-month internship at Yale University School of Medicine, where she worked on photochemical damage to melanocytes. She currently works as a Criminal Expert for the Secretaria de Segurança Pública from São Paulo's State, with experience in ballistics analysis and computer forensics, especially in the areas of internal ballistics, data carving, analysis of microcomputers, cell phones, forensics analisys of open sources data and chain of custody.
