Has experience in the field of Paediatrics, with emphasis on Neonatology and Inherited Metabolic Diseases, primarily working on the following topics: newborn infant, preterm newborn infant, nutrition, inborn errors of metabolism / inherited metabolic diseases, expanded newborn screening, parenteral nutrition, amino acids, body composition analysis, the use of stable isotopes in paediatric research, and bioelectrical impedance in Paediatrics. Coordinator of the Paediatrics Laboratories at HC-FMRP-USP. Clinical Director of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo for 2 terms between 2019 and 2023.
