Dr. Fabio Piva is a researcher in Cryptography and Information Security, and an "MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35" laureate in 2015. He received a Ph.D in Computer Science (2014) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, and was a visiting researcher at Technische Universität Darmstadt (2011) and Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen (2012-2013), Germany. He also holds M.Sc. (2009) and B.Sc. (2007) degrees in Computer Sciences and Computer Engineering, both by the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. His research interests include Visual Cryptography, Financial Cryptography, Usable Security, Cryptographic Protocols and Authentication. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
