Full-time professor at the São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito SP). Co-coordinator of the Center for Law and Political Economy (NUDEP) at the same institution. Professor Pimenta leads the international research consortium Rule of Law and Authoritarian Legalism (PAL Project) and the interdisciplinary research project Politics and Wealth Reproduction (PoWER). She holds a PhD and a Masters degree in Economic Law from the University of São Paulo Law School (FD-USP). She was a Fulbright scholar and conducted her doctoral research at Yale Law School, as well as a visiting researcher at Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining the faculty, she was nominated a Global Fellow postdoctoral researcher at FGV Direito SP. She received graduate and undergraduate research grants from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She earned her law degree from FD-USP, including an undergraduate exchange program at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Her research interests include law and political economy, economic law, wealth reproduction, corruption, integrity, public policy, and regulation. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
