He is an actor, writer, retired dancer, and professor. He holds a postdoctoral degree in Theatre Studies from the Institut de Recherche en Etudes Théâtrales (IRET) at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III, Paris, France (2023-2024). He earned his Ph.D. (2014) and Masters degree (2011) in Linguistics from the Federal University of São Carlos, focusing on Language and Discourse. He graduated in Library and Information Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (2008). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science (DIC) at the Center for Arts and Communication (CAC) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), in the area of Information and Culture Mediation. He is a member of Alaye - a study and research group on anti-racist information and informational subjects. He conducts research in the field of Linguistic and Information Theory and Analysis, with an emphasis on Bakhtinian Studies, Reading, Literature, Authorship, Popular Culture, and Theatre Pedagogy. He is a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He served as the Director of Culture at the Office of the Vice-President for Extension and Culture (PROExC) and is currently the Director of Heritage, Memory, and Artistic Cultural Actions at the Office of Culture (SuperCult) at UFPE. He is also enrolled in the Bachelor's degree program in Theatre at UFPE. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
