Jean Cerqueira Berni

Jean Cerqueira Berni holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2011), Rio Claro-SP campus, a teaching degree in Mathematics from Cruzeiro do Sul University (2023), a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2014), São Carlos-SP campus, and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2018), São Paulo campus. He has experience in the field of Mathematics, with an emphasis on Universal Algebra, Ring Theory, Commutative Algebra, Category Theory, and Categorical Logic.Between 2019 and 2022, he served as an Assistant Professor III at the Department of Mathematics of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo, teaching undergraduate courses under the responsibility of the Institute. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the same institution, funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), executing the research project titled "Contributions to C-infinity Ring Theory," as part of the research group on Category Theory and Applications (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/6658141875102666).Currently, he is a researcher in the areas of Algebra, Logic, and Ring Theory, also working as an advisor for Master's students and responsible for teaching courses such as Linear Algebra and Analytical Geometry, Mathematical Analysis, Arithmetic and Algebra, Algebraic Equations and Geometric Constructions, Functions of Several Variables, Geometric Transformation Groups, Workshops 1 and 2 in the Graduate Program in Mathematics of the Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences at São Paulo State University Julio de Mesquita Filho, IGCE-Unesp.
