Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a degree in Physics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), a master's degree in Physics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), and a PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2009). He has been a member of the Pierre Auger Collaboration since 2005. He was a professor at UFF between 2010 and 2024. He was a Young Scientist of Our State at FAPERJ from 2016 to 2023. He received the Excellence in Teaching award from the Federal Fluminense University in 2021.
