Roberta Alvares Campos

Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelors and Teaching Degree) from UNISINOS (2001), with a Masters degree in Biotechnology from the University of Caxias do Sul (2003), a PhD in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro (2009), and two postdoctoral fellowships: one in Biochemistry at IQ-USP (20092011) and another in Botany (20112012), both in São Paulo. She worked as a University Professor at Universidade Maurício de Nassau in Natal/RN, teaching Histology and Pharmacology for the Physical Therapy program at UNINASSAU (20152016). She was Product Manager at Twist Bioscience USA/Brazil, distributed in Brazil by Molecular Biotecnologia (20182020). She served as NGS Product Manager at Lifegene Soluções Genéticas Integradas, Rio de Janeiro, where she was responsible for administrative tasks, authored and submitted the project for setting up the Lifegenética Bioscience spin-off within the UFRJ Technology Park (January 2021 May 2022). She was also Commercial and Product Manager at the startup ECRA Biotec, Campinas (20222023), and currently works as Senior Sales Consultant (20242025).
