Denise completed PhDs degree in the Department of Health Sciences, University of São Paulo, SP, Brazil in 2018 working with shoulder biomechanics and human signal processing analysis. She accomplished an internship of one-year period as a research scholar at Harvard Medical School, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Boston-MA, EUA, working with a new soft exoskeleton and biomechanical gait analysis. Denise completed her Masters degree in the Department of Physical Education in 2013 and her undergraduate studies in Physical Therapy in the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy at São Paulo State University, Brazil in 2010. She is currently professor at Department of Applied Physiotherapy, Institute of Health Sciences, Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro, Uberaba, Minas Gerais. Her research interest are musculoskeletal disabilities, upper limb conditions, acute and chronic post-traumatic pain. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
