Vivian Machado Benassi

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Department of Biology, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP), at the University of São Paulo (USP) Ribeirão Preto-SP campus in 2006, Master's in Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP), University of São Paulo (USP) campus Ribeirão Preto-SP in 2009, and Ph.D. in Biochemistry by the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP), University from São Paulo (USP) Ribeirão Preto-SP campus in 2012 with sandwich period at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. She is currently Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri (UFVJM) Campus JK, Diamantina-MG, where she served as Coordinator of the Technological Innovation Nucleus (NITEC / CITEc) at UFVJM. Currently, she is a permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Food Science and Technology (PPGCTA) and permanent professor and Vice-Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Biofuels. Has experience in Biochemistry, focusing on Enzymology, acting on the following topics: prospecting for filamentous fungi, production and optimization of fungi cultivation for enzyme production, enzymatic characterization, purification and immobilization.
