Rominne Karla Barros Freire

She is currently in the process of finishing her PhD in Biochemical-Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo (2014-2019). Master Degree in Microbiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at USP (2009-2012). Graduated in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2003-2008). She has experience in the areas of biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry. Her main line of research is the biotechnological production of biopharmaceuticals, although she has already worked with the production of other bioproducts, such as ethanol, biodegradable plastics (PHAs) and a bio-insecticide for the control of Dengue.
