Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade para o Desenvolvimento do Estado e da Região do Pantanal - UNIDERP (2006). Especiallization (residency) in Clinic and Surgery for Large Animals in UNIDERP (2007-2009). Master Science of Large Animal Surgery in School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science - UNESP, Botucatu / SP (2009-2011). Doctorate in Large Animal Surgery by FMVZ - UNESP, Botucatu / SP (2012-2015). I have experience in the area of Large Animal Clinic and Surgery, working mainly on the following topics: clinic, locomotor surgery, equine colic, general surgery in production animals and Animal Welfare. Currently, I am coordinator of the Unidad de Equinos and carry out teaching, research and extension activities in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Animal Health at the Facultad de Veterinaria (FVet) at the Universidad de la República, in Montevideo, Uruguay.
