Graduated in Biology Sciences-Habilitation by Methodist University of Piracicaba - UNIMEP (1984); Graduated in Physiotherapy by UNIMEP (1989); Master in Biology and Oral Pathology by the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP)(1996); PhD in Biology and Oral Pathology by the UNICAMP (1999). He was professor in the Physiotherapy degree course of the UNIMEP from 1989 to 2018; a permanent professor in the Post-Graduation Program in Physiotherapy of UNIMEP from 2002 to 2013, in which she supervised students at the master's level and coordinated the Program; a permanent professor at the UNIMEP Post-Graduation Program in Human Movement Sciences from 2013 to 2018, in which he supervised students at the master's and doctoral level. She has been Research and Graduate Coordinator of UNIMEP from 2011 to 2014. She has experience in Physical Therapy with emphasis on Functional Evaluation and Rehabilitation of dysfunctions that affect the neuromuscular system and emphasis on Human Movement in Communities' Health. He was responsible for the Neuromuscular Plasticity Laboratory of the Post-Graduation Program in Human Movement Sciences of UNIMEP, in which he carried out research on adaptations of the muscular and nervous systems against the lesions of the central and peripheral nervous system and responses to the physiotherapeutic resources. The main themes of action are: physiotherapy, neurofunctional rehabilitation, neuromuscular plasticity, peripheral nerve regeneration, community health. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
