Vitor Conrado Faria Gomes

Graduated in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), master's and PhD in Applied Computation by the National Institute of Space Research (INPE). Since May 2014 I work in the C4ISR Division of the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEAv/DCTA) in research and development activities in Distributed Processing, Data Science and Database themes. Since July 2016, in conjunction with the INPE Geoinformatics group, I have been doing research on Array Database Management Systems and platforms for managing and analyzing big Earth observation data. I have experience in the area of Computer Science, working mainly in the following topics: Geoinformatics, High Performance Computing, Data Science and Software Architecture.
