Fernando Henrique Eduardo Guarnieri

Associate Professor of Political Science at the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ). Doctor in Political Science from the University of São Paulo, he did post doctorate at the Center for Metropolis Studies (CEM) and was a visiting researcher at the University of Maryland. He studies political parties and elections seeking to understand how the processes of cooperation and conflict between agents are conditioned by institutions and how these institutions are altered by the strategic action of these agents.
