Graduated in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP). Master's degree in General and Applied Biology with emphasis on Cellular and Structural Plasticity (UNESP). Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from the Institute of Biosciences of Botucatu (UNESP) with a sandwich Ph.D. period at the Research Center for Molecular Biology and Genetics - Biogem (Ariano Irpino, Italy) and Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) under the supervision of Da-Zhi Wang, seeking to understand the post-transcriptional mechanisms associated with cancer cachexia. Completed a Post-Doctorate in the Department of Immunology (ICB-USP), applying computational analyses to understand inflammation and immunoregulation processes. Currently, she is developing her second Post-Doctoral project at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF-USP), analyzing the genome and germline variants in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia. Has experience in molecular genetics and bioinformatics analyses (exome, transcriptome, microRNAome), mainly focusing on metabolic diseases and cancer. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
