Graduate in Social Sciences (Licentiate and Bachelors degrees) from São Paulo State University (UNESP). Holds a Masters degree in Social Sciences from UNESP and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), including a doctoral research internship at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (Germany),. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Political Science at UNICAMP.She teaches Sociology in both the municipal (SME-SP) and state (SEDUC-SP) public school systems of São Paulo. Her research areas include labor, trade unionism, and social movements; international unionism; the relationship between unionism and social movements; and unionism and teachers work.She is a member of the research group Labor, Neoliberal Reforms, Trade Union and Social Movements, which is part of the Interdisciplinary Research and Monitoring Network on Labor Reform (REMIR TRABALHO), and of the Social Movements, Trade Unionism, and Politics (MOB) group at UNICAMP.
