Ph.D. in Architecture and Urbanism from the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (IAU-USP). His research focuses on the relationship between humans and the built environment, particularly the use of wood and its impacts on health and well-being. Holds a Master of Science from IAU-USP, with a dissertation on the construction market and wood-based building components in Brazil, funded by FAPESP.He is a researcher at the Housing and Sustainability Research Group (HABIS), investigating technologies and innovations in sustainable construction materials. As part of his academic journey, he was a visiting researcher at Kyushu University (Japan), studying prefabricated wood construction techniques, particularly the pre-cut method, widely used in Japan.Holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UNESP (FAAC-UNESP), where he conducted research in Environmental Comfort, funded by FAPESP. In addition to his academic background, he has professional experience in urban mobility and traffic engineering, having worked on the development of Traffic Impact Reports (RITTs) and mobility projects for Traffic-Generating Hubs (PGTs).His research interests include healthy architecture, sustainable materials, the impact of wood on environmental quality and human comfort, and the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and technology.
