Gabriel Costa Correia

Professor at the Faculty of Communication and Arts (FCA) of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). He holds a PhD in Multimeios at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a master's degree in Image and Sound from the Federal University of São Carlos, as well as a degree in Image and Sound with an emphasis on Screenwriting and Directing from the same institution. Professor Correia is a member of the Study Group on Cinematographic and Audiovisual Genres (GENECINE - IAR/ UNICAMP) and the Study Group on Cinemas and Audiovisuals (GECAS-FCA / UFMT). His research and activities encompass the following areas: film genres, superhero films, horror cinema, audiovisual script, narratives for multiplatforms, comic books and television series.
