He is a professor at Physics and Mathematics Institute (IFM) of the Federal University of Pelotas / RS. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Physics (Master / Doctorate) of the Federal University of Pelotas and permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Science and Materials Engineering. Also is Research Productivity Fellow of CNPq Level 2 in nanomaterials. PhD in Sciences (Chemical/Physics) from the Federal University of São Carlos (2010), Master in Engineering and Materials Science from the Ponta Grossa State University (2005) and a bachelor of Physics from the Ponta Grossa State University (2002). He is currently a member of the scientific advisory committe of the Rio Grande do Sul State Research Support Foundation (FAPERGS). Has experience in Condensed Matter Physics with emphasis in Materials Science, devoted to the study of chemicals from multifunctional materials, acting on the following subjects: Photonics, Crystal growth, Computational simulation applied to nanomaterials, Thin films, Photovoltaic systems, Thermal analysis and Microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis.
