Graduated in Communication from Braz Cubas University (1986), holds a Master's degree (2003) and PhD (2009) in Communication from the Escola de Comunicações e Artes (ECA-USP). At the same institution, he conducted two postdoctoral studies. He is a professor and collaborating researcher at the Communication, Freedom of Expression and Censorship Observatory of ECA / USP. He has experience in the area of Communication, working mainly on freedom of expression, education, popular culture, circus, circus-theater, popular culture, country music, identity, mediation and censorship.
