Rodrigo Vezula Pirovani

Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2007), Master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2009) and PhD in Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2014). The first postdoctoral at the Laboratory of Synthetic Organic Chemistry (LQOS), I have worked on the development of new drugs to combat neglected diseases, especially malaria. The second one at the National Biosciences Laboratory (LNBio-CNPEM), I have studied new inhibitors for protein-protein interactions and beta-blocker for structure-activity relationship studies. At last, I have carried out a post-doctorate under the supervision of prof. doctor Fernando A. Sigoli at IQ-Unicamp developing new ligands for lanthanide ions. After migrating to the industry, he worked as a researcher at Blanver Farmoquímica in the development of industrial processes for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and the elaboration of DIFA. He currently works as a DIFA analyst at EMS Pharmaceutical. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
