Victor is an architect and Ph.D. in Architectural History at University of São Paulo (2024, Fapesp Fellowship). His work reflects on the relationship between architecture and politics, with a focus on the Brazilian military dictatorship period (1964-1985). Presently, he is teaching and research fellow in the Princeton-Mellon Initiative for Architecture, Urbanism and the Humanities, where he is part of the working group "Fugitivities and Confluences" (supported by the Princeton Humanities Council). He is also an associate researcher in NEC-IAU-USP. During the academic year of 2021-2022 he worked as a Fulbright Visiting Fellow at Harvard University, Department of History of Art and Architecture. He was Professor of Theory and History of Architecture at Mauá Institute of Technology (2024). Victor is co-editor of the books Arquitetura e Escrita: relatos do ofício (2023) and IABsp 80 anos (2025), as well as one of the curatos of the exhibitions "Paisagem e Poder: Construções do Brasil na ditadura" and "IABsp 80 anos falando em público" (2024). Victor was associate architect at spbr arquitetos (2012-2019), and since 2020 has been collaborating with community-based movements in Bixiga neighborhood, São Paulo, with a focus on environmental, cultural and historical preservation. He was Vice-president of the São Paulo section of Brazilian Institute of Architects (2023-2024). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
