His background is in Linguistics, with a PhD (2019), Master's (2014) and Bachelor's (2011) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), during which time he carried out research into experimental phonetics, speech prosody and speech perception. In 2018, he completed a Sandwich PhD at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and, in 2013, a research internship at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
