Graduated in Biological Sciences (Teaching in 2006 and Bachelor's in 2007). Master's (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) in Biological Sciences in the Genetics concentration area from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), with part of the doctorate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2013). Postdoctoral research at São Paulo State University (currently) and University of Los Angeles (UCLA) (2016) in the field of phylogenomics. Previously a substitute professor in the Zoology department and associated researcher at the Ichthyology Laboratory of the Institute of Biosciences, UNESP, in Botucatu. Teaches courses in postgraduate programs at UNESP, UEM, and MZUSP and conducts research in the areas of Genetics, Zoology, Systematics, Taxonomy, Biogeography, and Neotropical Fish Macroevolution. Currently a Professor at Santo Amaro University, UNISA, teaching in Undergraduate programs in Biological Sciences, Medicine, Agronomic Engineering, Biomedicine, Dentistry, and Nursing.
