Maria Dolores Montoya Diaz is PhD in Economic Theory at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Accounting from the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP) in 1997 and Associate Professor of Economic Statistics and Econometrics at FEA-RP/USP in 2003. He was a professor at the Department of Economics at FEA-RP/USP (1997-2010), where he was president of the Undergraduate Committee between 2004 and 2006. Full Professor at the Department of Economics at FEA-USP, where she was president of the Graduate Committee at FEA/USP between 2013-2017. She is currently one of the coordinators of the EconomistAs Research Group [Brazilian Women in Economics]. She was editor of the journal Economia Aplicada and section editor of the journal Estudos Econômicos. She works in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on mathematical, econometric and statistical methods and models applied to the areas of Health Economics, Gender Economics, Education Economics and Labor Economics.
