Rodrigo Borghezan

Biologist with a degree in Biological Sciences (Teaching and Bachelors Degrees) from the Universidade para o Desenvolvimento do Estado e da Região do Pantanal (UNIDERP) in 2008 and a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences, with an emphasis on Zoology, from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo (IB/USP) in 2013. Holds a specialization in Inclusive Special Education from UniBF. Has experience as a teacher in technical courses in the environmental field through PRONATEC, in elementary education, and in Special Education, focusing on gifted and talented students. Additionally, contributed as a technician in laboratories at UFMS and UEMS. Currently serves as a board member of the Instituto de Desenvolvimento Socioambiental Pantanal Sul and is a co-founder of Cerrado em Pé Produtos da Sociobiodiversidade. In 2022, was awarded first place in the Startup Challenge FUNDECT in the Bioeconomy category. Interested in projects related to the conservation of the Cerrado and Pantanal, Agroecology, Agroforestry, Ethnobotany, Sustainable Extractivism, Non-Conventional Edible Plants (PANCs), Urban Agriculture, Sustainable Product Development, Solidarity Economy, and Permaculture.
