Beatriz Stransky Ferreira

Beatriz Stransky holds a degree in Biological Sciences (1992), a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Immunology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996), and a PhD in Immunology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). She performed her postdoctoral work at the Department of Computer Science at the University of São Paulo (2009), with a period at the Center of Mathematical Biology at the University of Oxford, England. She was professor of the Biomedical Engineering course at the Federal University of ABC (2009 - 2012). She is currently an associate professor in the Biomedical Engineering department at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and a tutor at the junior enterprise CORE Engenharia Biomédica. She is also a permanent member of the postgraduate program in Bioinformatics at the same institution, a researcher at the Multiuser Center for Bioinformatics (BioME), and develops research in bioinformatics and data analysis in health.
