Graduated in Languages (Portuguese and English) from the Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG), 2009. He holds an MA (2012) and a PhD (2017) in Linguistics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). He carried out post-doctoral research at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and the University of Münster (WWU, Germany). He received a scholarship from the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP) during his master's, doctorate and post-doctorate studies. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins (UFNT) in the area of English Language. He conducts research in the area of Typological and Functional Linguistics, focusing on the morphology of indigenous languages and their interfaces with phonology and syntax. He has experience in describing and comparing Amazonian languages, in particular the languages of the Panoan family and the Matis language, working mainly on planning and teaching, linguistic variation, grammaticalisation, case marking and referential processes.
