I have been teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students for some years now; Ph.D in Social History through the USP. I have a masters degree in Social History through the USP, a postgraduate specialization in International Relations through the FESPSP, and a bachelors degree in Social Sciences through the UNESP. Author of the books Women and Islamism: the cases of Egypt and Turkey (version in English) and Islamic Feminism: discursive mediations and practical limits (version in Portuguese). I am a member at two research centers: the Center for History and Historiography Studies (NEHH) - an extension of the History Theory and the History of Historiography Laboratory (LABTEO) - and the Working Group on the Middle East and Muslim World (GTOMMM) an extension of the Asian Studies Laboratory (LEA). I am also a co-founder and member of the editorial board of the Malala Review (www.revistas.usp.br/malala ). I have acted as a professor/monitor in the graduate-level discipline of West and Islam: Challenges and Responses, 1990-today. Ideological debates and International Policies, organized by Professor Dr. Peter Robert Demant and the undergraduate discipline History of International Relations I, organized by Professor Dr. Peter Robert Demant at University of São Paulo. I have acted as a substitute professor in the graduate-level discipline of Modern History at the Federal University of São Carlos/SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
