Effective professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) - Sobral Campus, Bachelor's degree in Music, since 2020. Bachelor (2012), Master (2015) and Doctor (2019) in Music from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He received four scholarships funded by FAPESP and completed a doctoral internship at the Franz Liszt University of Music (Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt-Weimar, Germany) in 2018, with funding granted by DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst-German Academic Exchange Service). He is a member of the editorial board of the IASPM (International Association for the Study of Popular Music) journal, coordinator of the Extension Project "Grupo de Choro da UFC" and has worked as a percussionist in the UFC Symphony Orchestra (OSUFC Sobral) since 2021. He has published articles in refereed scientific journals with national and international circulation. Its activities are centered around the following themes: Brazilian Popular Music; History and Sociology of Music; Music Analysis; Musical education. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
